Coaching Philosophy We believe communication is the cornerstone to success for the athlete/coach relationship. Feedback from the athlete is the critical component; good communication between athlete and coach results in successful program development.

At J.R. Smith Coaching, we maximize your cycling performance by working together as a team. Our philosophy emphasizes enthusiasm and dedication to help you achieve realistic goals. Whether you are a serious recreational cyclist or a national caliber racer, we will customize a program that both suits your schedule and guides you to your full potential by utilizing our experience as racers, instructors, team managers and coaches.
